There are spaces in buildings that may have enough illuminance due to an insufficient number of lamps or the general lighting available in the room (space). The aim of this assignment is to provide the students with an understanding of the principle of artificial lighting design by implementing a Lumen Method calculation.

provide the following drawings/sketches in appropriate scales:

1. Overall floor layout.

2. Floor plan of the chosen space.

3. Reflected ceiling plan with proposed general lighting layout.

4. Cross section (1 no.) to showcase the type of lighting fitting used.

5. Two (2) sketches of proposed other types of lighting that are suitable for the chosen space.

6. (Sketches need to include the space’s surroundings)

7. Show the Lumen Method calculations.

8. Compose all findings in TWO (A2) size boards.
